Hours 7a.m – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday
Saturdays on a rota basis 7a.m - 1p.m
At Halo we pride ourselves on being the market leaders in our field and we are now in the process of expanding our business which has opened up an opportunity for a Workshop Controller. You will be working in an exclusive, new, transparent, modern environment managing large scale accident repair volumes to the insurance community (currently repairing 100 cars a week with investment and expansion increasing to 150). In order to increase capacity to meet our customer needs we require a Workshop Controller to join our Team and manage the new MET workshop at our Accident and Repair Centre in Barnham, Nr Chichester.

In this role:
You will need a positive attitude and have a flexible approach to work, be extremely organised and eager to hit targets & maximise productivity in the workshop with real drive and determination.
You will:
• Oversee the daily running of the workshop, prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop
• Monitor job cards and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Oversee all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices and adhered to within the workshop.
• Ensure the provision and ongoing condition of workshop tools and equipment is maintained.
• Supervise workshop staff, including monitoring of timekeeping and productivity. Identifying training needs.
• Ensure inspection documentation and images are correctly completed and customer defect procedures adhered to.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to support the ongoing success of themselves through development and training.
This role would be an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to progress from the shop floor in either a body shop or dealer environment.
